Can you believe I didn't take any pictures? I was so busy Saturday night that I didn't even think about taking them. The event went really well. We had about 50 kids show up, not as many as I had hoped but we knew that it would be hard to get kids that normally didn't go to church to come to an event at one. The important thing was that we knew that the ones that needed to be there were. Even better, we got so many donations of soda and chips that we have enough for our high school outreach for the next month. Which is awesome because we were worried that we wouldn't have enough. Our youth group loved the movie and the band was amazing! They were so awesome and so nice. I have made some amazing friends. I even got one of them to promise me that they would hire me as their personal baker when they get super famous. Ha! We also had a speaker that came to talk in between the movie and the concert and that went well too. All in all it was a great night. We are starting the curriculum tonight at youth group and it starts with our very own version of the show "If you Really Knew Me". It is an amazing show on MTV, the only one. It is based on a movement that was started over 20 years ago by this couple called Be the Change. They go into schools and get kids to open up and be vulnerable in front of each other and allow them to talk about their emotions and what's really going on in their lives. It's awesome because it breaks down the cliques and really shows them how much they are all alike. I love it.
Other than that, my computer crashed on Saturday a couple of hours before the event. It sucked and I was panicking without my facebook. But luckily my husband took me computer shopping on Sunday and I am now the owner of a new Samsung Laptop. It is awesome except that it has windows 7 and now my printer isn't compatible with it so now I can't print anything. But at least I have facebook now.
So that's it for now.

so glad your event went so well! and yay for the new computer!
You must have never seen Jersey Shore! HAHA. Good to see your event went well. You should have bought a MAC but they are expensive. It would be a good learning tool for Riley and Bee. I never thought I would be a MAC person but mine works perfectly since I bought it years ago.
Kara....you may not have had the numbers you where hoping for...but off the 50 that attended, if it saves even 1 and helps the rest, it I'd so worth it.
Those that attended will be so more aware and help others. Well done.
