Ressurection Eggs!!
Our egg hunt
We had an awesome Easter. Riley got 3 hermit crabs for Easter and they have become Riley's best friends. They are very active and are usually walking around the floor while I am cooking. I also bought something new this year. I wanted to focus more on the true meaning of Easter instead of doing the whole Easter bunny thing. I bought Resurrection Eggs from the Christian Book Store. They were AWESOME!! If you want to have a fun way of teaching your children about Easter, this is it. We hid the eggs outside after we got back from church and after he hunted for them we sat down on the swing and opened them. Each egg has something that is part of the Easter story. They have to be opened in order and when you open them you tell a part of the story and the scripture that goes along with it. Inside the eggs were things like a cup, piece of linen cloth, a leather whip, nails in the shape of the cross, a crown of thorns, etc. I really enjoyed sitting with him and reading him all of the stories.
For my list today I am putting my favorite blogs. These blogs have been inspirational for me and I read them all the time.
1. Soule Mama
I learned of this blog through a book I bought. The author has a blog and she is a stay at home mom to 4 and an unschooler and she bakes, quilts, knits, and is the mother of all natural crafts. I love this blog!!!!

I love Elizabeth's blog because of many things. Of course her daughter is the cutest thing! Her daughter was adopted from Korea and they are adopting a second child as well. She started a not for profit organization that saves cats. Her and her husband fought to get their daughter insurance coverage and are fighting now for other families. She has a HUGE heart and I just love her.
3.Jon and Kelly Plus One
I love Kelly's blog! They are also waiting for their son to come home from Korea. I love her blog because I love looking at the pictures she posts. They live in the pacific northwest and I am so jealous. They travel a lot and her husabnd cooks these amazing meals. I drool when I see what Jon cooks, Kelly!!! I'm coming over for dinner!!

10. My Blog!! I love my blog! My hope is that it is an inspiration to others, especially those who are also waiting to bring home babies. I hope that my attitude and faith inspire some of you readers to trust in GOD's plan for you. The path he chooses for us is sometimes hard and painful, but HE always knows what is best for us. Sometimes he permits storms in our lives so that he can use them to lift us up. I am grateful for our journey, even though it was excrutiating at times. I am at peace now because of it. I have no worries or anxiety about my future or what is to come for us. I know that HE is always with me and that I can walk through anything because of that. Thank you for reading my blog!!!!
