Healthy Recipe Tuesday

Well, today I woke up with the Flu. I was up all night with a fever, body aches, headache, sore throat, and nausea. I did ,however, also wake up to my Binker standing beside my bed with 2 pieces of cinnamon toast that he toasted himself and brought me breakfast in bed. So Cute!! So we ate together and watched TV in bed for a while and then I had to go make coffee . I took a hot bath thinking it would make me feel better and it didn't. We went outside for a couple of hours and that helped a little .

I found this at Whole Foods the other day and it is my new favorite thing! As you all know Riley stopped all dairy and that includes yogurt, which is his favorite thing. Goat's milk only has a trace of the protein casein, which is what causes the milk sensitivity. So people who are allergic or sensitive to dairy almost always can drink goat milk. He hasn't liked anything that I have gotten him except this. It is a drinkable yogurt just like the yo baby yogurt smoothies. This is made without sugar or preservatives. It is only 150 calories and has 9 gm of protein and 4 gm of sugar. They use fruit juice to sweeten the yogurt. It is not organic, however Goats are never treated with hormones and if they are given antibiotics, the milk from that goat has to be discarded by law. Don't you wish they did that for cows? It is also made with 4 live cultures. I LOVE IT!!!! And even better Riley loved it. He wants me to go buy some more tomorrow. They had several flavors. If you are interested in finding this product , check out their website.
And for the recipe, I am sorry . I really don't feel good and don't want to even think about cooking right now. But I will link you to my newest favorite food blog. This woman also has a cookbook you can purchase from Amazon. It's called vegan yum yum and even if you are not a vegan, she will make you want to be. Her photography and recipes make you drool. I'm not kidding. Please check it out!
Enjoy!!
