Trying to Catch up

I am getting really bad at posting. I can't seem to find the time anymore. We are so busy. Christmas was so great this year. Riley got me a Bee necklace and Bee earrings and someday I will get around to posting pictures of them. My husband got me the most thoughtful gift. He had this picture of my organic gardening teacher and I framed and had him sign it for me. It was the nicest gift he has ever given me. It meant so much that he thought of it and went to Frank's store and told him how much I admire him and asked him to sign it. I was completely surprised. We had a wonderful dinner and I was in love with my Amish turkey. He was 20lbs and beautiful!

I am still stalking my mailbox for our immigration approval. I'm really getting annoyed with CIS. They have had our paperwork for over 5 weeks now and I have emailed and got no response. I don't understand what takes so long. Our social worker said she would call this week so we will see if she finds out anything. We got stuck at this phase with Cameron's paperwork for over 2 months.

Riley was allergic to milk when he was a baby and I think he has sensitivities to it again. We noticed that he was having tummy issues after he would drink a big glass of milk or eat yogurt. So I took him off milk completely to see if that worked. It did. I switched him to fortified rice milk and almond milk. He had ice cream the other day and ended up in the bathroom that night with diarrhea. I felt so bad for him. It hasn't been that big of a transition because he never ate cheese or eggs, so it was just changing his drink. I am trying him on different yogurts to see which one he likes. He liked the goat yogurt but I haven't tried the rice or coconut yogurt. I won't try soy because I really don't like soy. So he is pretty much Vegan now. I have switched to all vegan baking which I have really enjoyed. I have some books on it that I will post next week. I found a nutritionist in town that will do a blood test for food allergies and we might take him in and see if it truly is the milk or something else. He has these allergic shiners under his eyes so I know he is allergic to something.

I finished registering for my shower and my mother in law finished the invitations. They are so cute!! I am very lucky to have such a talented mother in law because I never would have found any invitations like this. I will post a picture so you all can see them. She will make them for others so if you are interested you can send me your info. She will make announcements, invitations, or any cards. I will try to post pictures tomorrow.
