Where the Wild Things Are.....

This a warning for mothers with children under 8. Don't take your kids to see this movie. We went today because I thought it was a movie about a children's book. However the first 20 minutes are of this very impulsive little boy who is about 8or 9 and he is fighting with his mother and biting her , chasing their family dog around the house and then attacking it and wrestling it to the floor. Then he trashes his sister's room and runs away. We only made it about 5 minutes after the monsters came on. They were pretty scary looking with huge faces and scary teeth and they were talking about eating the little boy. Riley looked at me and said, " Mommy, can we go now? This movie is scaring me." So we left. I'm sure it is a great movie but not for little kids. I'm sure a lot of moms like me will go thinking it is a children's' movie, so I'm saying it is definitely not.
