Visa Interview

I had a weak moment this morning and decided to call the State Dept. I was totally expecting to hear nothing and was prepared to not let the bad news upset me.( Just so you get a better understanding , I called the State Dept 32 times last year and everytime got bad news) When the girl said her visa interview is May 18th at 1pm I couldn't believe it. I told the girl on the phone that she made my day. I was totally in shock. I called Jesse and just lost it. I think that made it real for us. So I thought that maybe we could get our TC this week and we still may, but our agency said there is a change in the procedure for visa and passport and that could delay us still. But either way, I am choosing to be positive and believe that it WILL happen sooner than later.  And I am telling my husband that he IS going to meet his daughter next week!!!  So the party is on and I am celebrating!! I am also in a sewing frenzy. I have already made 2 valances and the top of the quilted table runner for the dining room. I got all that done TODAY! I just want to sew every minute of every day until the TC comes because it keeps my head focused and clear of bad thoughts.  Also I wanted to share something really cute that Riley did yesterday. Whenever we go somewhere and get a balloon he always lets it go into the sky and says a prayer for his sister. Yesterday he got a balloon and said," God, I'm sending this balloon to you, and it would be really nice if you could put my sister on the string and send her back down to me."  Is that not the funniest thing you ever heard? He's gonna be a great big brother!! Let's all eat chocolate tonight to celebrate. Anyone in?
