He took this at eye level.
Can you imagine the big bald white guy on the Korean subway?
This is a scroll he had made for her room.
A palace he toured. Not sure which one.
I LOVE this picture!
The Buddhist Temple
I think the palace again.
A river in the city.
Of course he couldn't resist taking this one. He found an Organic Market for me.
The sign above the food says, "I Love Organics".
So, he was supposed to go to a luncheon today and meet the president of the agency. However, she was unable to be there today so he will meet her tomorrow. He was able to email me from the agency to let me know that he was going to Outback for lunch , shop a little, and then come back to meet Bee again at 1pm. So I will be getting updated pictures again in the middle of the night. Check back tomorrow....

I love the picture of the lanterns. That is beautiful. I"m glad he is able to see so much of Seoul. It is a beautiful city. But I really can't wait to see more pics of Bee!
the lanterns were up at the temple when we were there last year. it's really beautiful and the sound of the monks chanting is really peaceful in the middle of the bustling city. thanks for sharing his pictures!

Good for Jesse getting out and about in the city, esp all on his own!!!

Oh! It looks like the pictures you posted are from the "secret garden" in changdeokgung palace. We loved it there.
The same multi colored lanterns were up at the temple when we went. I love seeing all these pictures! It's so cool he is getting to explore all these places.
I really enjoy the pictures from around Seoul. I saw many of the same things -- such happy memories. The subway picture made me laugh. I can't wait to see updated pictures!
Oh, I miss those nice clean subways! So different from the Chicago el!
