It was foggy this morning and I looked out my kitchen door to see my jasmine blooming.
I had an eventful last couple of days. Of course with our travel call possible coming 2-3 weeks from TODAY, I am so all over the place it's not even funny. I seriously have completely lost my mind. I don't even think I know what day it is. This morning I called my husband at 8am and then at 9am I sent him an email that said,"Sorry I forgot to call you this morning" . He called me and was like what is wrong with you? With how excited I am, I am just in Lala land half the time. I was up until 1am last night eating chocolate. Jesse couldn't come home this week so we decided to make a last minute trip up to Sarasota. We headed up to my mom's to drop Sammy off and then drove up to Sarasota. When we got there we had dinner at C*rrabbas which was yummy. Then Jesse took Riley swimming until 10pm and I went to bed. I was so tired! Riley was so excited to see Jesse. He is really having a hard time with him being gone so much.
The next morning Riley and I went to have breakfast and browse around Sarasota. Since there is a good chance we will be moving up there next year, I wanted to check out their organic food stores so I could make sure we had access to everything I needed for the kids. I went downtown to their Wh*le Foods and OMG!!!!! It is huge and so nice! I loved it. While I was there I picked up some of their local "green" magazines. I was so happy to find that there is a HUGE community of people that are" green" or into the eco friendly, organic eating, stuff that we are. They actually have organic vegan restaurants. They even have a Raw Mexican restaurant. So cool! They have about 10 farmer's markets and quite a few local organic farms. I will be able to get raw goat milk up there to make my own goat yogurt for the kids and there is even a local organic farm that grows blueberries and peaches!! I am so in love with that area that I can't wait until next year. It's really gotten me motivated to finish all of our projects on our house so that we can put it on the market. They also have a holistic pediatrician , a holistic veterinarian, and a holistic moms group.
I CAN"T WAIT!!!!
I also found a HUGE G*odwill store. Jesse and I have this obsession with thrift stores. I can't even remember the last time that we bought clothes for ourselves at T*rget or any other store. We have found some goldmines lately. In Sarasota I found this really pretty valance for Bee's room. It is green and pink and has a kind of oriental pattern. It looks perfect in her room. We have found so many awesome things at these stores. I really want a bread machine so I think instead of paying over $200 for a new one I am going to look at G*odwill for one. I have seen them there for like $10. You can't beat that.
I also found at the store in Sarasota, 2 Tea collection shirts for Bee. What a steal!!
Anyways I should be receiving the Ergo today from UPS so I will start the raffle tomorrow.
Bee's valance. I got this for like 2.99
I think it brings out the green in her room.
It's even a little oriental.
2 Tea Collection shirts for Bee from G*odwill.
2 more cute things I got for her .
This is Jesse's find at G*odwill. It's a Bee!
A gift from my Aunt for Bee's birthday. Aren't they cute?

But seriously, it sounds like a great community! So much excitement in your lives these days :) I'm happy for you!
WAY CUTE stuff! LOVE the valance! I bet you couldn't even find something like that in a retail store! LOVE IT! Same goes for the Tea Collection shirts! Really cute!
Sounds like Sarasota can't wait to have you! It's a PERFECT fit!
I can seriously feel your excitement bursting through this email! I'm so glad things are getting so close for you!
Such great finds!!! I especially love the Bee that Jesse found - so perfect :)
Sarasota sounds PERFECT, how exciting! That valence is lovely and goes great in her room!
I had to laugh out loud at the bilingual bib, love that one!
That valence is perfect! I really love the Sarasota area. I wish I could talk my husband into moving up that way but he is really resistant to any change. I've been to that Whole Foods! It's nice, and you wouldn't be too far away from the huge farmer's market in Tampa!
