Happy Birthday Parker!!!
I have an adoption buddy who has been waiting since the end of June to bring her son home. She unfortunately has gotten caught in the EP backup. She was able to go and meet her son in Korea last month and was nice enough to take a care package for Ashley. Please keep her family in your prayers. Today is her son's first birthday and he is not here with her. I know how hard that is. When Cameron's birthday came around it was pretty sad , but we went to our favorite Chinese restaurant to celebrate it. Please pray that her son can come home soon. I am eating chocolate today for you Audrey. Hang in there.

Thank you, Kara! You are so sweet. Today is definitely a chocolate day - I even let my girls eat a little chocolate with their breakfast!

We've heard through our agency that EPs are starting to come through for those families that have been waiting since May and June...so hopefully it won't be much longer for your friend who's been waiting since June.
