Shark week on Discovery Channel is one of my favorite weeks. So we decided to do a Shark family night. we made shark hats and made a shark game and made shark pizzas. Riley doesn't like sauce and cheese so I made his a sweet pizza. I sweetened some ricotta cheese with honey and cinnamon and cut up some apples and put them on top. He loved it. I think that is probably the first time he has ever eaten cheese before. Then we watched shark week and played our shark fishing game. Here are some pics from the night.

You are soooo creative!! I hope I can draw some creativity from you when we have our little one!!!
I LOVE SHARK WEEK TOO!! Check out the movie Sharkwater. It wouldn't be so much for little eyes. My 7 year old watched it, loved it, but there can be some harsh stuff to watch in it. I teach 6th grade, and we show it as a culminating activity for a shark unit we do. They all LOVE the movie. We write essays about it. You can preview it by going to sharkwater.com and check out the trailer. In two years... I'm swimming with the sharks in Florida. I can't wait! Enjoy. I love your idea about shark family night. My boys love science! I am going to try your shark pizza as a dessert instead of our usually ice cream. Thanks for the ideas!
