Here is a movie of the fireworks for anyone who didn't get to see them last night because of the weather. My mom is in Springfield and I don't think she got to see them because it was raining all day yesterday. We took our boat out with some friends down to the pier. She and I both get seasick so we took some Bonine. Apparently we didn't take enough because we both ended up sick. She was way sicker than I was. I just tried to focus on the shore and that seemed to help. Then I ended up getting in the water with my clothes on and that helped even more. The water was like 89 degrees. Once the fireworks started the waves seemed to calm down a bit so I actually got to enjoy them. Then once we got back home we set off some fireworks of our own. We had beautiful weather and out on the water there were no bugs. It was a littler bittersweet though, because we were looking forward to spending this holiday with Cameron. I had a little 4th of July outfit that I had bought for him. Oh well. I am looking forward to the start of a new week and pray that we get some sort of answers or news or a referral. Here's to Monday.
