Family Night... Mystery

Riley and Uncle Kissyfur
Ok well given what happened this week I really could not be creative for family night. And of course the theme that Riley picked needed a lot of creativeness. So we had Mystery night but the only mystery thing we did was I put clues all over the house and he had to follow them to find his favorite stuffed dog Sammy. It was fun but only lasted about 10 minutes and then he had a meltdown because he wanted to do it again. My brother was in town and he came over for family night. I made lasagna for dinner and chocolate cupcakes. Then I made them guess the mystery healthy ingredients I put in the food. Lame, I know, but I'm exhausted and my creative brain just is not functioning. Christopher just got back from a 5 week trip to Europe and he had over 4000 pictures for me to look at. They are amazing. I really enjoyed hearing about his trip and wished I could have gone just to see Italy and Paris. Maybe some day I'll get there. I really want to take Jesse to Isle of Capri for our 10 year anniversary. My grandfather was a pilot in World War II and flew bombers over Italy. And he said his favorite place in the world was the Isle of Capri. Anyways, Riley had a great time with his uncle and he said that he wished he would stay longer and not go back to Georgia.

This morning I'm feeling better again. It seems to change every day. I took a shower, which I've only done once since Tuesday, and I have had some coffee and I'm doing alright. This week is going to be tough though because my mom is leaving to go to Illinois and my dad is leaving to go to North Carolina. I'm not sure what I'm gonna do to pass the time. I did order Riley's preschool curriculum but I don't think that will get here until Thursday. Hopefully I'll find something, otherwise I'm gonna go crazy just waiting. Tonight Jesse and I get to go on a date and see a movie and I can't wait. Then tomorrow is my mom's birthday and we are taking her out to lunch. So have a good weekend everyone.
