Family Night.. Beach Night

Well this weekend was crazy. It started Friday morning when my husband took the test he has been studying for months for. He PASSED!!!!!!!!! He was so excited and I was so proud of him. He is now a LEED accredited professional . He said it was the hardest test he has ever taken. So he was very happy and went and had a beer and some chicken wings by himself at his favorite sports bar. Then when he got home we packed up and went to the beach for Family Night. We cooked some hot dogs on the grill and played on the beach . The mosquitoes were terrible and it felt like it was 105 degrees and the water wasn't real refreshing because it was 89 degrees. But we still had fun and even saw a school of stingrays in the water. It was so cool because they came right up to the shore. When we got home Riley kept saying he wanted to go camping, so we went to Walmart and bought some sleeping bags and a tent. When we got home we realized that tents are meant to be staked into the ground and had to figure out a way to put the tent together another way. 2 hours later and a few concrete blocks we had a huge tent in the living room with a blow up mattress. It took up the entire room and the top was open with just a screen on it so we could see the ceiling. It was really neat. We went to bed at about 10pm and all slept in the tent. At about midnight Jesse got tired of being kicked in the face and went upstairs to bed. We all slept in until almost 8am. Then we made blueberry pancakes and brown sugar bacon. Yum!!! Then to get Riley a little excited about getting a brother I had Cameron send him a present in the mail. I wrapped up a box and told him UPS brought it. He opened it up and was so excited to find a couple trucks, a ball, and a boat. He asked Jesse this morning if he would tell Cameron thank you when he goes to Korea to get him. Isn't that cute?

Saturday night Jesse and I went out to dinner and then hung out at my mom's house for a while. Then Sunday morning we took my dad, aunt, and my brother on our boat and up to Ft. Myers beach for lunch. It was so HOT!!!!!! But that just made my 2 beers go down really fast. We had a great Father's Day . So now we are just relaxing and hoping that we do not have to endure another week of hearing nothing. I am really hoping that God heard all of our prayers tonight and that tomorrow when I call I will get a big surprise. I might not be able to post if I do get a surprise because I'll probably faint or run out of the house screaming or something like that. Well I hope to post something great tomorrow.
