Another Friday

Well, here we are again. I feel good this morning, it must be from all the chocolate in my system. I had broke down yesterday and called the State Dept and Eastern still had not turned in the paperwork. It will be 10 weeks since they received it on Monday. 10 weeks!!!!!! Anyways, I called the Lifelink Korean program manager and she never called me back. So at the end of the day we called our social worker. She said that she spoke with the program manager a few days ago and another family who was in the same time frame as us had just received their call, so she anticipated that we would be hearing soon. She said that she's been wanting to call and check on me but didn't want to get me excited by her phone call. I felt much better after she called. Just knowing that she had been checking on what is going on for us made me feel like somebody was doing something. I will call again this morning to see if they have returned the paperwork and hopefully that will have changed. On a lighter note, tonight is Family Night. The theme is Asia and I am so excited. We are having Korean beef and ginger salad and I am hungry. I'm not sure how to incorporate chocolate into the menu though. I think I know have over 10 people eating chocolate on a daily basis. What support! Check back tomorrow for family night pictures!

Good luck. I'll be crossing my fingers and toes, and eating chocolate for you!

10 weeks??? What in the world have they been doing with your paperwork for 10 weeks? Our child is coming through Eastern also, which has me concerned. Very upsetting!

Therefore...I'll definitely join the chocolate ranks for you. I'll do my best. I'm always willing to "take one" for the team. I've already had some today, in fact...but I'll be sure to double up with some kind of chocolate dessert tonight also...just for good measure.
