Ok, so this wait is really getting intolerable. I have tried to be patient and keep myself busy, but after the email I recieved today, I am no longer patient. I won't go into detail about the email, I'll just say it was discouraging. We were expecting(hoping) that Jesse would be traveling in the next 2 weeks, mostly because some other families who had referral dates close to ours were getting through the visa process this week and expect to be traveling next week. The email we received suggested that it could be another month. GRRRR!!!! So I needed to destress. So .... I made a hanging laundry bag for Cameron's room. I know it's crazy but it really relaxes me, especially if I can complete something in one night. It makes me feel as though I have moved forward somehow ,like I have gotten closer to getting my little boy. And I have had to do this process a lot throughout this last year of waiting. This is my tally so far of projects I've made:
20 cloth diapers
30 soaker pads
13 bibs
30 soaker pads
13 bibs
4' x 6' quilt for foster mother
baby quilt for Cameron
large wet bag for diapers
hanging laundry bag
3 baby carrier wraps
3 baby carrier wraps
and I'm half way done with my diaper bag
I'm probably forgetting something too, Oh ya, 30 cloth wipes. Needless to say I have definitely kept myself busy. I'm really trying to be patient and not obsess over it but we are so close it's just so hard not to know what's going on. A few other of my adoption friends are also waiting and waiting at different stages of the process. I feel for them and will keep them in my prayers. I posted some pictures of Cameron's room as it is finally all finished and ready for him to come home.He turns 9 months tomorrow and I miss him already. I love you my baby boy and I can't wait until I have you in my arms.
