I love my Serger . It is so much fun. Sue you should get one. I finished another 2 diapers and 5 microfiber soakers and about 7 flannel soakers. It's funny because they look like maxi pads. I am trying to get all of the daytime diapers done so I can make the fleece night diapers. They are going to be so cute. Wait till you see the fleece I got. Joann's is having a sale on flannel so I 'm going over to maybe get some girl prints for Ashley. I figure I have lots of time to make hers since we still won't get her for atleast 2 or 3 years the way China is going. Atleast they will be done way before she comes. Once we get her referral we will only have about 6-8 weeks to travel and that's not enough time to make diapers.

hmmmmm. . . i just looked at sergers ;). don't tell my husband! what kind do you have? do you use it in place of your sewing machine. or as well? i found some refurbished ones on overstock.com.
Mine is a brother 1034d and I got it at costco.com for about 200.00. Do not get a singer, they are so hard to thread. This one comes with dvd's that show you how to use it. You can sew everything that you would a normal sewing machine. But I still use my sewing machine to make the diapers.
